Customer service and selling skills are a must! Automotive knowledge good, but, not necessary. Responsibilities-greeting customers, setting appointments to effectively manage workflow, documenting customer concerns and comments regarding their repairs and maintenance needs, explaining and selling repairs and needed maintenance to customers. Test driving vehicles, with customers, to confirm service repairs, if needed. Estimating the cost and time for repairs.
