What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator (Grader, Dozer, Loader, Excavator) position at Gray & Son?
The Equipment Operator will operate one or several types of large power construction machinery, such as skid steer, end dump, bulldozers, graders, and excavators to excavate, move and grade earth.
Job Duties:
- Able to grade excavate, move materials in a safe and productive manner.
- Complete daily maintenance, walk around and fill out checklist.
- Willingly attend and support Foremen/Superintendents during morning huddles and toolbox talks.
- Other duties as assigned as assigned by your Foreman or Superintendent.
Heavy construction equipment includes:
- Bulldozer
- Bobcat
- Excavator
- Backhoe
- Paver
- Roller
- Farm Tractor
- Other equipment as needed
