Director, Subsidiary Operations

Graybar Electric Company, Inc., is seeking a Director, Subsidiary Operations to manage company-wide initiatives that will help achieve short and long-term goals with our subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of achieving results and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

• Develop goals and initiatives for assigned area(s) that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Guide managers on implementing company initiatives and policies.
• Evaluate company processes and procedures to solve issues and improve them.
• Ensure business operations are implemented based on established procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for overseeing the annual budget.
• Oversee and mentor a small group of subsidiary managers.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proven track record of success in driving financial performance.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Track record of driving growth, leading organizational change and delivering measurable results.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• This position requires travel as needed.
