Graybar Electric Company, Inc., is seeking a Director, Subsidiary Operations to manage company-wide initiatives that will help achieve short and long-term goals with our subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record of achieving results and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
In this role you will:
- Develop goals and initiatives for assigned area(s) that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Guide managers on implementing company initiatives and policies.
- Evaluate company processes and procedures to solve issues and improve them.
- Ensure business operations are implemented based on established procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for overseeing the annual budget.
- Oversee and mentor a small group of subsidiary managers.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving financial performance.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Track record of driving growth, leading organizational change and delivering measurable results.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- This position requires travel as needed.
