Grayhawk is seeking a Commercial Construction Foreman to join our team! Primary responsibilities will include leading crews in the safe performance of wall and ceiling construction on single job-sites.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the work of a commercial contractor specializing in metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, EIFS, and allied carpentry trades.
- Have the ability to manage work activities without direct supervision.
- Layout wall and ceilings using blueprints and other supplemental instructions.
- Assign tasks to crew members. Monitor progress.
- Coordinate wall and ceiling work with other trades.
- Inspect completed work for conformity with specifications and industry standards.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations. Identify and assist in correction of issues.
- Attend job site meetings.
- Work with general contractors, construction managers, and other subcontractors.
- Complete the daily paperwork and reports.
- Hands-on experience in commercial construction with a background in interior carpentry trades such as metal framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.
- Experience with on-site management of large or small projects.
- Be familiar with RFI's, ASI's, and Change Order processes.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Possess all auditory, speaking, and communication abilities.
- Work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.
- Lift, bend, and squat throughout the day.
