We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team. This role will primarily focus on benefits administration and employee training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
Training and Development: Implement, develop, and oversee training programs for employees at all levels.
- Conduct orientation, ensuring onboarding steps, activities, and checklists are completed and tracked.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Develop, update, and distribute training materials and resources.
- Coordinate with external training providers and manage training budgets.
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to benefits administration.
- Conduct benefits orientations and assist employees with enrollment and changes.
- Manage the Wellness program, incentives, utilization, budget, and engagement activities.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting interviews and preparing offer letters.
- Comply with the relevant state and federal relevant state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Support employee relations efforts and address employee concerns and grievances.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR documents and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication abilities,
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and empower teams to achieve business goals.

- Provide the highest level of service and support to all levels of the organization
- Own and resolve employee concerns with empathy and timeliness
- Promotes the work of GrayMar Environmental programs locally, regionally, and nationally
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in training or benefits coordination or administration.
- Proficient in ADP WorkForce Now, MS Office, and familiar with (LMS) Learning Management Systems.
