KILN OPERATOR
STARTING HOURLY RATE STARTING AT $23.08 -- UP TO $29.49
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out verbal and written instructions necessary to complete repetitive tasks including but not limited to:
- Strong commitment to safety
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and safely perform job duties
- Operating production equipment in a safe efficient manner in addition to completing associated paperwork and workplace exams
- Understand and communicate process concerns with Leadsman, Production supervisor, and oncoming relief during shift handover
- Perform required housekeeping
- Truck loading, receiving, taking inventory, and assisting the Kiln operator in addition to completing associated paperwork
- Inspect equipment in area on daily basis, and report safety and/or maintenance items.
- Enter work request in JDE system
- Troubleshoot equipment and/or process in your work area
- Train other employees in your knowledgeable work area
- Perform incidental maintenance as required
- Perform other tasks as directed by Leadsman or department supervisor
