QUARRY OPERATOR - I
365 DAY SWING SHIFT OPERATION - ENTRY LEVEL WAGE RATE $20.75
THIS IS A PROGRESSIVE POSITION WITH THE EXPECTATION OF ADVANCEMENT TO QUARRY OPERATOR IV
Primary Function
- Carry out verbal and written instructions necessary to complete repetitive tasks including but not limited to:
- Understand & follow Graymont & MSHA safety standards and procedures
- Understand and communicate with Lead Man and Supervisor
- Able to perform one of these 4 jobs in a satisfactory manner. (Primary Crushing Plant, Secondary Crushing Plant, Bin Truck / Haul Truck / Utility Loader, Face Loader)
- Perform required housekeeping
- Understand and communicate process concerns with Leadsman & production supervisor
- Inspect equipment in area on daily basis, and report safety and/or maintenance items.
- Perform associated paperwork
- Troubleshoot equipment and/or process in your work area
- Train other employees in your knowledgeable work area
- Perform incidental maintenance as required
- Perform other tasks as directed by Leadsman or department supervisor
- Obtain State of Ohio Mining License
