Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing curricula in accordance with the academic standards of Grayson College, regulatory agencies and the RN to BSN Program philosophy and mission.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- 50% Provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings as assigned, provide student evaluation in each of these settings.
- 20% Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing curriculum.
- 5% Participate as resource person in nursing courses.
- 5% Coordinate practicum experiences and maintain public relations with the respective cooperative agencies.
- 5% Assist in the recruitment of nursing students.
- 5% Assist in the planning of the budget and the selection of textbooks, visual aids, teaching aids, and library holdings.
- 5% Maintain scheduled office hours and the attendance and scholastic records of students as required by the college.
- 5% Participate on college committees, RN to BSN program committees, college clubs and organizations and other College activities. Attend team, program, and faculty committee meetings.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of three years of current professional nursing education experience. Online teaching experience in an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Education: Registered Nurse with unencumbered licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing.
Terminal degree in Nursing preferred. - Interpersonal Skills: Interpersonal and organizational skills to provide leadership for potential and current students, as well as faculty. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Other Skills: Knowledge of instructional methodologies. Willingness to maintain up to date CPR, drug screen, criminal background check and immunization requirements of the clinical sites. Participation in professional/community organizations. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems.
- Physical Requirements: Most of the duties of this position require extended periods of time behind a desk or in front of a classroom.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements designated by the clinical agencies.jects up to 50 pounds. - Work Environment: A typical office environment. Work may require some evening and weekend availability.
