Job Description for Lead Children’s Pastor at Graystone Loganville

We are looking for an energetic, experienced, Jesus-loving person to lead the Children’s Ministry at Graystone Church. The candidate should be able to inspire and recruit volunteers, create a fun and safe environment for children and be able to lead the children’s pastors and ministries at the 2 multisite campuses.

All Campus Strategy for Reaching This Vision

To equip, lead and train the children’s ministry team of Graystone Church.

Objective One: To be the “lead shepherd” of the children’s ministry team.

Objective Two: To lead campus children’s pastors in identifying, recruiting, scheduling, equipping, leading and maintaining children’s ministry volunteers.

Objective Three: To lead campus children’s pastors in providing the best possible Sunday morning gKids experience.

Objective Four: To lead the campus children’s pastors in planning major gKids events.

Objective Five: To lead campus children’s pastors in recruiting for and planning Good News Clubs in all communities.

Objective Six: To lead campus children’s pastors in maintaining the gKids ministry within the approve budget.

Objective Seven: To ensure effective communication amongst children’s ministry team, staff, volunteers, and parents.

Loganville Campus Strategy for Reaching This Vision

To be the Lead Children’s Pastor of Graystone Loganville Campus.

Objective One: To identify, recruit, schedule, equip, lead and maintain volunteers for the children’s ministry (babies through 5th Grade).

Objective Two: To provide the best possible Sunday morning GKids experience, which includes a full-blown worship experience for the 2nd–5th Grades with worship, large group teaching and small groups that teaches the Bible in a fun way.

Objective Three: To lead the major gKids events (Sports Camp, Fall Carnival, Egg Hunt, Summer Camp) and other special events (Parent-Child Dedication, Christmas Program, summer events).

Objective Four: To actively participate in and/or lead a Good News Club.

Objective Five: To maintain the gKids Loganville ministry within the approved budget.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
