GrayWolf is seeking Ironworker Helpers at our Port Sulphur, LA project site

Summary:
- Safety – work safely around the hazards associated with the Construction field.
- Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools and in a safe manner.
- Construction Math - Demonstrates a basic level of competency in construction math as required in trade practice.
- Rigging Equipment – Safely and competently identify and use basic rigging procedures and equipment including chain hoists, come-alongs, jacks and tuggers.
- Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel using a pick and shovel.
- Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies.
- At least 6-months experience as a Helper level construction worker
- Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
Physical/Site Requirements:
- Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
- Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
- Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG’s etc.
- PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
