What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA-QC Technician position at GRAYWOLF INTEGRATED CONSTRUCTION COMPANY?
JOB SUMMARY—This Position consists of performing QA/QC on various metal structures and components in a shop setting. It is a Monday through Sunday 7 x 12 position with a two-week duration. The Employee must be flexible concerning daily hours, which will be determined by the client’s needs and the staff's ability to produce a fixed amount of product each day. Pay is based on experience, with production and quality incentives available. Each applicant will be required to pass a drug screen prior to employment. Graywolf is an equal opportunity employer.
Job responsibilities:
- Verify dimensional tolerances utilizing electronic equipment and report
- Verify and document dimensional tolerances by hand
- Verify/document coatings applications (paint, galvanizing)
- Understand/verify/document torque on nuts and bolts and document
- Inspecting over all welding and structural uniformity
- Visually inspecting new welds and repairs if necessary
- Visual inspection/document on integrated components and loose ship
- Conducting final inspection package and turnover to management for auditing
- Performing pre-shipment inspections as applicable per product
- Mitigate and resolve non-conformances and integration issues with production team and management
- Daily quality auditing of production shop
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma/GED
- A Background in QA/QC in a production or construction atmosphere is preferred
- Employee should be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, push, pull and squat while performing various task
- Employee shall be able to read English as well as write legibly
- Shall be Able to interpret drawings, dimensions, welding symbols, ETC.
- Must be able to work in a high paced atmosphere for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to take direction and be willing to help when needed in other areas
- Must have knowledge and be familiar of Windows and associated programs
