QA Coatings Inspector - Multi Site Locations

Graywolf Integrated Construction is seeking traveling QA/QC Coatings Inspectors for multiple locations.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct paint inspections
• Conduct material verification, environmental compliance checks, and dry film thickness readings
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings for fabrication verification and documentation
• Interface with customer QC representatives
• Complete reports for all testing and inspections performed
  
  

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication environment
• Must possess at least Level 1 AMPP NACE Inspector credentials
• Must be familiar with multiple welding processes
• Must be proficient in reading fabrication drawings
• Complete understanding of fabrication and coating codes
• Must be able to travel – Per Diem allowance will be provided / Phone allowance will be provided
• Must be able to communicate and document via company web mail programs
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
  
  

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
