The Field Human Resources Manager role provides leadership and direction for our field-based Center and team members. This HR professional, self-directed, “hands-on” individual will support the full scope of HR responsibilities and partner with the Operations and HR teams on strategic business initiatives. This role’s responsibilities include employee relations, payroll compliance, process improvement, support of the Operations Leadership team as well as identifying employee engagement opportunities for the field organization.
- Provide coaching and guidance regarding employee matters in policy and procedure interpretation/application, dispute resolution, corrective action, harassment and terminations.
- Recommend appropriate steps to ensure workplace compliance.
- Recommends changes as appropriate and documents practices and procedures, focusing on simplification for the Centers.
- Focus on developing and maintaining employee relations programs/initiatives to promote a positive working environment and culture through retention and culture.
- Writes and delivers presentations to management staff regarding human resources policies and practices; maintains open communication with all levels of employees.
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently with solid project management & planning skills.
- Consultative approach, strategic mindset
- Customer focused, adaptable, and has strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Developing and leading leadership-related training sessions for onsite and remote leaders across multiple micro units Experience:
Qualifications
- At least ten years of progressive HR Generalist experience, helping support multi-unit locations.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent HR experience in Generalist HR roles.
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly preferred.
- Experience in high-growth retail/service space.
- Experience working with Paycom applications or a closely similar HRIS is required.
- Must have experience assisting sites from a remote or hybrid environment across multiple states and regions. 50% travel required
- Excellent technical experience, proficiency with Microsoft platforms (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, advanced Excel).
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong skill-set in facilitation and presentations
- Willingness and ability to collaborate with department colleagues and with internal customers
