Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Leads the examination and processing of new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations using various systems.
- Coordinates the entry or loading of data into appropriate systems and investigates and resolves data errors, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinates the generation and distribution of policy documents, certificates of insurance, and other related materials.
- Organizes, prepares, and updates reports. Determines and adjusts billing status as needed. Addresses premium/billing inquiries.
- Identifies opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Participates in ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent.
- Field of Study: Business, Finance, Liberal Arts or related discipline.
- Experience: Generally, 8 or more years of related experience. Experience in the insurance industry preferred
