Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop system architectures for machine control systems, including creating electrical schematics and network diagrams.
- Develop programming standards and templates to improve efficiency and consistency across projects.
- Program, commission, and debug automation systems, including PLCs and robots, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Lead both large and small automation projects at our facility and on-site at customer locations.
- Specify data collection systems that interface with PLC / PAC and integrate with M.E.S. systems for enhanced performance.
- Manage a team of junior engineers on larger projects, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with applications teams to provide accurate quotes and project estimates.
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installation, runoffs, and machine acceptance while delivering operator training.
