RN/PT/OT/SLP with Healthcare Leadership Experience
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced healthcare leader to serve as Program Director for our growing hospice organization in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. This senior leadership position combines clinical excellence with strategic business acumen to drive program growth, ensure exceptional patient care, and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the hospice program
- Lead and mentor a team of 6 direct reports, including Clinical Team Managers and Administrative staff
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive program growth and clinical excellence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain Joint Commission accreditation standards
- Foster strong relationships with medical staff, community partners, and stakeholders
- Manage program finances and optimize operational efficiency
- Champion quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical excellence
- Direct patient care program development and implementation
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred) OR Master's in PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Business/Healthcare Administration with clinical bachelor's degree
- Current NC state licensure (RN strongly preferred, or PT, OT, SLP)
- 5 years progressive healthcare leadership experience
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Strong analytical and financial management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare software systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary:up to $124,000
- Annual Bonus Potential: 15-22.5%
