Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

We're seeking an experienced registered nurse who excels in critical thinking and demonstrates exceptional patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment. Essential Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients' conditions, including ECG interpretation and arrhythmia detection
- Provide specialized care for diverse patient populations aged 16 and older
- Manage critical cardiac monitoring and therapeutic interventions
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips
- Implement evidence-based nursing care protocols
- Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Missouri or Multistate Compact License
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within first year
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
