Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at Great Brook School. In this role, you will be vital in nurturing young minds and facilitating their learning experiences in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating Child-Driven Learning: Encourage children to explore their interests and ideas through project-based learning, allowing them to take the lead in their educational journey.
- Creating Learning Environments: Design aesthetically pleasing and inspiring learning spaces that invite exploration and engagement. The environment acts as a "third teacher," promoting creativity and interaction.
- Documenting Learning Processes: Regularly document children's activities and learning experiences through photographs, videos, and written observations. This helps to reflect on their development and share progress with parents and the community.
- Encouraging Collaboration: Foster collaboration among children and between children and adults. Classroom activities should promote teamwork and social interactions, allowing children to learn from one another.
- Engaging Families: Actively involve families in the educational process, encouraging them to share their insights and experiences. This partnership strengthens the child's learning experience and reinforces the connection between home and school.

Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
