As a Regional Manager of Market Development, you will be in a critical national role that demands a deep understanding of sales, central team support, and installations. This individual must be a strategic thinker, collaborator, recruiter, team builder, and trainer, with a strong ability to execute plans and deliver results. The focus is on driving sales/revenue growth and EBITDA.
- Strategic Planning & Execution Enhance sales growth, profitability, productivity, and efficiency across company operations.
- Champion Location Management Lead and manage designated Champion locations to ensure sales growth, targeted profit margins, excellent customer service, quality installations, and a high-performance culture.
- Executive Collaboration Work closely with the executive team and departments to align company operations, talent, sales, and strategic priorities.
- Leadership & Coaching Act as a role model, coach, and advocate for great customer and employee experiences, enabling and holding people accountable for results.
- Process Improvement Introduce and align on best practices, process improvement measures, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
- Market Expansion Focus on opening new markets and turning around underperforming markets, eventually handing over divisions to regional operators.
- Marketing & Sales Strategy Execute forecasted marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve growth and EBITDA targets.
- Customer & Internal Communication Communicate customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates with marketing and leadership to drive successful strategies
- Education Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience 8-10 years of experience in business ownership or managing a business, preferably in the home improvement industry.
- Team Management Proven experience in recruiting, developing, and managing high-performance teams, fostering a culture of growth, trust, collaboration, and accountability.
- Marketing & Fiscal Management Ability to understand and execute marketing plans aligned with company practices, and teach fiscal management and business/sales models.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills; skilled in conflict resolution and mediation.
- Business Acumen Skilled in business management, including budget preparation and fiscal management, with the ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple objectives.
- Technological Proficiency Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
- Travel Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Achieve target profit margins with a focus on top-line sales growth and EBITDA.
- Deliver positive customer experiences through trust, quality, and commitment fulfillment.
- Foster a great employee experience based on development, respect, accountability, and fun.
