Job Summary
Position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong people skills. Will be responsible for weekly multi-company payroll administration for Great Eastern Resort Management, Great Eastern Purveyors, WaterPark, and Peak Construction. Related duties include completing employment verifications, submitting garnishments, and processing all employee job transfers, promotions, rate changes, and terminations. Must be able to meet deadlines, prioritize work during busy seasons, and have experience with, or aptitude for, general payroll and/or accounting processes. Position requires strong analytical and computer skills. Ability to speak both English and Spanish a plus. The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact related to their areas of expertise. They also serve as a resource for the HR team, resort employees and management on additional HR topics.

Prior customer service/employee relations experience
Experience with, or aptitude for, general payroll and or accounting processes
Strong analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications
Must be at least 18
Preferred
Previous office/administrative/payroll/HR experience
Knowledge of resort operations
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Typical Schedule
Days:
Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays as needed
Hours:
9am-5pm, evenings as needed
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee resort payroll including personnel maintenance, payroll processing, paycheck distribution, employment inquiries, and recordkeeping using a fully integrated HRIS
- Complete hire processing including Social Security Administration verification
- Assist with corporate and accounting information requests and audits
- Communicate employee leave requests including family medical, personal, and bereavement with management
- Support HR team with administrative functions/programs/events as needed
- Participate in employee feedback programs/committees
- Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
