JOB SUMMARY

The Estimator will be responsible for conducting all measuring duties for a specific retail store territory. This role will conduct measuring for all types of flooring systems. The selected candidate must always be cognizant of company margin. Must possess a reliable means of transportation. Must always provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Conduct “in home” or “business” customer visits for the purpose of measuring floors
• Generate measurements using custom measuring tools
• Create and exhibit a sense of ownership
• Ensure customer satisfaction
  
  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• High School Diploma, GED, or one to 12 months of related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of the flooring industry preferred
