Position Summary
We’re seeking a Growth Marketing / Business Development Leader who will own and drive growth and understand the how to sell into the health and wellness channel. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee our growth. This role can start as a FTE consulting position, with the potential to convert to a full-time role, with serious equity options, or start as a FTE and convert to W2 in 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Channel Ownership : Oversee our direct channel, focusing on growth and market penetration through online / social, retail, and later dental professional networks
- Messaging Ownership : Work hand in hand with our team to refine and nail our DTC patient messaging
- Business Development Strategy : Develop and execute a strategy with our CEO that leverages existing industry contacts and identifies new opportunities for Great Gums.
- Account Management : Build and manage relationships with online partners, other oral health brands, dental professionals, and DTC platforms, driving sales and brand awareness.
- Metrics and Reporting : Track performance metrics, provide regular updates and optimize based on results.
- Qualifications : Background working in the health and wellness sector, specifically with a focus on retail, DTC and experience in the professional channel sure is a plus, and it’s got to be a brand or two we’ve all heard of and we want to hear your success stories
- Digital native. If you don't have an Instagram account, played with Canva, worked in Shopify, sold a prodfuct on Amazon, haven't in a past life mastered Hubspot or Salesforce directly, can work directly with creatives and love closing and partnering this isn't for you.
- Market Knowledge : Understanding of the oral care industry and the competitive landscape a plus.
- Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships with retailers and direct-to-consumer sales channels.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment (if you haven't worked at an early-stage company and aren't a self-starter then um, no)
