*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This job is for a 6am start time and Saturday's are required.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with the manager to place orders
*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
