We are seeking a newly barred attorney or an attorney with limited workers' compensation experience who is eager to learn and grow within this specialized field. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment with comprehensive training provided. Ideal candidates will have a passion for advocacy, a strong moral compass, and a desire to serve vulnerable communities.
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage a caseload under the guidance and mentorship of experienced attorneys.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality representation and positive outcomes for clients.
- Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation law and related areas.
