About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Sales Associate team at Great Lakes Ace Hardware. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, while also contributing to the store's sales and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Use effective communication skills to resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including price change bulletins and inventory adjustments.
- Replenish stock, display merchandise, and maintain store displays according to company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and adhere to attendance policies.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Epicor point-of-sale system and Google Drive.
Work Environment:
The Sales Associate will work in a dynamic retail environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a regular basis. The physical demands of the job include standing, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
