Administrative Assistant

(Full-Time During Peak Season, Part Time in Off Peak Season)

As one of Michigan’s leading event and party rental companies, Great Lakes Chiavari has been bringing elegance and ease to weddings, backyard celebrations, and upscale events since 2017. We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced operations and growing team.

This is a (Full-Time During Peak Season, Part Time in Off Peak Season) offering hands-on experience in both office and warehouse settings, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, responding to voicemails, and relaying urgent calls directly to ownership
  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries via email with professionalism and clarity
  • Generate and edit customer quotes using our rental software
  • Support the owner and office team with administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of event inventory (tables, chairs, chargers) during downtime
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse organized and customer-ready
  • Take initiative on special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills

  • Prior office or administrative experience is preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or rental software is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
