IT Administrator
Location: Fremont, OH (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 34 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to lead our Information Technology Department and drive strategic initiatives that support our organization’s vision and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the IT Administrator will oversee key IT functions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and manage a team dedicated to IT infrastructure, support, and security.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology required.

Certifications: At least one of the following: Microsoft 365, Azure, Cisco CCNA, Project Management (PMP), or ITIL.

IT Experience: 7 years with a combination of engineering, system infrastructure, and application support.

Cloud Experience: 3 years of experience administering Office 365 or Azure

Supervisory Experience: 3 years of leadership experience, including managing IT teams.

Skills: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security policies, vendor management, and leadership in a dynamic work environment.
The Ideal Candidate Must Be Able to Perform These Key Responsibilities:

Oversee infrastructure architecture that aligns with and supports current and future business operations while driving down operational costs.

Direct daily operations of department, analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop standards and set deadlines.

Collaborate with department directors and supervisors to develop and review detailed use cases for requested technologies, ensuring they align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.

Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s IT security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate and recommend changes and/or upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices.

Control operational budget and expenditures.

Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Additional Requirements:

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Insured, dependable transportation for daily use.

Initial and periodic physical exams required.

Must submit to initial and periodic state and/or federal background checks.

Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.

Must be available via cellular phone during and after business hours.
