Join our team at Great Lakes Management as our Real Estate Investment Analyst! The role of the Real Estate Investment Analyst is to assist with underwriting of senior living development and acquisition opportunities, as well as budgeting and financial modeling for existing assets in the portfolio. This position will also support capital markets functions related to both debt and equity raises and asset sale, disposition or recapitalizations of existing assets.

Real Estate Investment Analyst Responsibilities:
- Underwriting modeling related to new development or acquisition opportunities for multi-family apartments and senior housing
- Manage financial models for annual and ongoing budgeting or cash flow forecasting
- Procure and distribute competitive information related to pricing, occupancy, and other relevant information about competitors
- Lead due diligence around acquisition opportunities, gathering necessary information to build financial models and assessing the viability of acquisitions
- Assist with raising debt and equity, communicate with investors, banks and capital partners around debt and equity capitalization opportunities
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Real Estate Investment Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or another applicable degree
- 2-5 years of analyst experience - preferred in senior living or similar real estate sector
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and other computer software
- Ability to read a balance sheet, income statement, and excel based real estate models
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate and quality work
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats, and growing the company
- Desire to think critically and creatively
- Must be an expert in Excel based modeling and forecasting. Experience with other real estate or data analytics platforms a plus.
Working Hours
Typically, Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. The work schedule and hours may vary from week to week. You may be required to work beyond the normal schedule which includes weekends and holidays. The base location of this role is at the corporate office in Plymouth, MN.
