We are currently seeking a digital marketing specialist to join our team! Those who are comfortable with e-commerce/digital environments with attention to detail will be comfortable in this position. The right candidate will have an enthusiasm for e-commerce, consumer experience, excellent time management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining positive and detail oriented.
OVERALL FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION:
The digital marketing associate will oversee the continued growth of the company through our website and social media outlets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing website graphic updates, advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, email, and SMS), organic social media content, and local customer engagements. Additional duties will include content management tasks, including digital asset creation, maintenance of product images, attributes, descriptions, and other product content/data associated tasks in support of detailed and accurate e-commerce websites.
AREAS OF FOCUS:
- Build online and local awareness through email and SMS marketing
- Create and maintain advertising campaign structure
- Create digital marketing materials for website content, advertising campaigns, social media channels, and marketing events.
- Identify trends in search engine optimization, social media, content marketing, and online marketing
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
WEBSITE
- Create schedule for and execute website content updates via CMS
- Create landing pages for brands and events
- Optimize website content for search engines
- Act as quality control by identifying listing/data issues
ADVERTISING
- Create materials for local/print advertisements
- Develop social media ads – graphics, underlying interests, intentional audiences
- Develop Google Shopping ads structure and maintain on a weekly basis
- Optimize advertising strategies based on budget, target demographic, and desired outcome
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Create strategy for organic content to drive traffic to the retail stores
- Develop and manage social media campaigns for both in-store and website traffic
- Design and schedule industry specific, engaging posts on Facebook and Instagram
DIGITAL MARKETING – Product Data
- Stock images
- Features Lists
- Descriptions
- Attributes
- Video (if applicable)
BRANDING COLLATERAL
- Digital assets
- Banners
- Posters
- Event merchandise
- Work with brands to implement local advertisements (billboards, print ads, etc.)
SKILLS:
- Experience with Omni-channel Commerce, CRM, CMS, and other graphic design software
- Proficiency in current computer/browser-based technologies and platforms is required
- Excellent written communication skills, including social media and website copy
- Experience with social media and website management a plus
- An understanding of skiing, snowboarding, climbing, or cycling
- Graphic design and/or photography experience (preferred)
- Strong team and interpersonal communication skills – commonly working with upper management
- Must be self-motivated, willing to take initiative and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and completing requests in a timely/efficient manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.25 per hour
