Description
This position is responsible for overseeing Fuel Truck Drivers to meet customer needs and resolve issues while ensuring the highest level of safety.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains an up-to-date listing of assigned drivers
- Ensures access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route
- Ensures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available relief or substitute drivers
- Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of drivers
- Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations
- Oversee transportation of fuel, inventory levels, daily pricing, market movement, warehousing, deliveries, reloading with minimal downtime and efficient route planning
- Ensures that drivers clock their times accurately and that any write-in time is accurately reflected on the daily report
- Coordinates with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery
- Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned

Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be available to take calls on weekends and evenings
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in previous fuel dispatch
