Description
The Warehouse Manager ensures the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Processes purchase orders, monitors inventory levels, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Plans truck routes based on orders received and reviews SmartTank to maximize route efficiency.
Requirements
- CDL Preferred, not required
- Forklift experience preferred, not required
