Job Responsibilities May Include:
- Welding and assembling steel structures, supports, and frameworks
- Stick welding, using grinders, saws, plasma cutters, and torches when needed
- Reading blueprints and understanding weld symbols
- Using clamps, tacking techniques, and rigging equipment when needed- May help with rigging, connecting, and other laboring tasks on site
- Operate heavy equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and skytraks
- Other tasks as assigned by the foreman
- 2 years of experience in Structural Welding
- Stick welding experience on structural steel
- Possess and have proficiency in using basic tools
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 Certification
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
