Summary
The Wastewater Maintenance team is looking for a Management Professional – Equipment and Data Maintenance Professional (EDMP) who will be responsible for driving and overviewing reliability centered equipment maintenance program ensuring maximum availability, maintainability, and quick repair turnover. The person will work with various internal and external stakeholders providing technical support within the spectrum of reliability centered maintenance domain. May require off shift or weekend support addressing unexpected equipment breakdown or failure and investigate breakdown failure. Responsible for maintaining equipment life cycle and annual budget, performing engineering calculation for O&M equipment repair, retrofit or replacement.Job Responsibilities
• Manage vendors from bid analysis to vendor selection, reviewing contracts and invoices, coordinating onsite safety and policy compliance, project QA/QC and delivery for upkeeping process equipment.
• Oversee and provide technical support to equipment repair, troubleshooting, breakdown and repair parts availability and logistics.
• Drive O&M equipment life cycle program, maintain tracker of useful life and plan scheduled replacement.
• Drive maintenance KPIs improving Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for quick equipment repair minimizing downtime towards maximum availability and maintainability.
• Lead O&M projects and provide technical support in calculating various hydraulic calculations and equipment capacity.
• Explore opportunities for technological improvement and coordinate with capital improvement team for equipment upgrade or replacement.
• Overview O&M projects from equipment installation to operational qualification and asset onboarding. Work with internal stakeholders making sure assets and PMs being handed-over to the appropriate stakeholder for PM/PdM activation.
• Participate in various audit programs, root cause analysis, failure modes, asset criticality efforts and provide technical supports.
• Help planners with cost estimate and repair parts identification and procurement process coordinate with vendors/contractor.
• Provide leadership and management support to team leaders and planners with emergency breakdown and incident investigation.
• Developing maintenance SOP and maintenance playbook.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a specialty designation area preferably in a continuous or discrete manufacturing or operation settings.
- Certification in any recognized reliability and maintenance program.
- Safety and Workforce Data and Analytics Specialty Designations only: Education requirements can be substituted with extensive experience at the discretion of the GLWA Chief Executive Officer and Organizational Development Officer
Environmental Working Requirements:
Work is performed within an office, plant environment, remote sites, or other locations. Employees within this classification may be exposed to dust and electrical connections, and frequent work with computer equipment.
