Position Summary: Responsible for managing product lines/categories, vendor relationships, identifying sourcing opportunities, driving up sales of existing and new products, and collaborating with different teams to execute product strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
· Performs line reviews to develop a long-term strategy for products/categories
· Researches opportunities to grow category/product offering
· Identifies cost saving solutions, domestic and global, to resource current product lines
· Forecasts demand, inventory levels, and creates shipping schedules to optimize DC space
· Manages pricing and promotional strategy for print and e-commerce channels
· Identifies e-commerce advertising opportunities and channels to drive sales
· Sources products for retail opportunities as directed by sales team and account managers
· Collaborates with marketing team to create compelling sales copy/collateral
· Works with packaging team to create and update packaging
· Attends 2-3 industry shows/year
· Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- B.A./B.S. in supply chain management, business, economics, or related field
- Sourcing experience and managing resourcing product lines
- Pricing/Promotional strategy experience
- Understanding of basic finance principals
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Automotive tool industry knowledge preferred
- Advanced level of Excel (v-lookup, if statements, index formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Strong multitasking skills, priority-setting, and communication/writing
- Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central experience preferred
