Join our team at Lake Isabella as Assistant Guest Experience Manager. At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.
This part time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position will work in our boathouse focusing on daily operations. This position requires knowledge of customer service, cash handling, and a cooperative team environment.
Lake Isabella is a fun environment with people who share a love for nature and fishing. Employees work collaboratively with each other to create a safe, clean, and enriching park.
- Provide training, guidance, and coaching to part-time staff.
- Account for daily cash transactions, complies with all cash handling policies and enforces cash control procedures including POS operation, daily deposits, shift / change tills, and required logs.
- Assist in promoting food and merchandise sales through daily public relations with customers and development of sales promotions and special events.
- Willingness to learn fishing knowledge and share that with Lake Isabella guests.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions of food service areas, bait holding, and other work areas.
- Uses problem solving skill to manage any customer conflicts appropriately and refers particularly difficult challenges to supervisor.
- Assists with and promotes fishing and park events.
- Completes online and in-person training necessary to job duties.
- Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, with accountability and reliability a priority.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required with at least
4) years’ experience which evidences knowledge of management principles.
At least 19 years of age.
