Join the team at Sharon Woods Golf Course! We are accepting applications for part-time Guest Experiences Attendants II for Outside Services, Pro Shop, and Snack Bar at Sharon Woods Golf Course. These part-time positions work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.
As a Guest Experiences Attendant II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment of our facilities. You will greet and serve guests that are visiting the golf course and clubhouse area. Your goal will be to create a positive and memorable experience for all. Standard practice allows the employee to operate independently on regular duties while referring questionable situations to a supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, and can pick up extra shifts if desired.
- Opens facilities and prepares for daily business. Closes and secures facilities at end of business day.
- Maintains cleanliness of guest and employee areas including restrooms. May include other housekeeping duties.
- Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County’s policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Maintains privacy of confidential and sensitive information.
Pro Shop:
- Greet guests upon arrival to the golf course. Handle guest inquiries.
- Confirm guest tee times and payment at the beginning of their round.
- Run register and handle cash
- Answer phone with excellent customer service. Book tee times over the phone in reservation system.
- Create pro shop merchandise displays. Keeps pro shop merchandise orderly.
Outside Services:
- Check guests in for their tee times. Handles starting play off first tee.
- Helps guests maintain pace-of-play on the golf course.
- Cleans and maintains golf carts daily.
- Performs various grounds maintenance. Operates a minimal amount of equipment and tools.
Snack Bar:
- Cook food and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Keep snack bar area and patio clean and orderly.
Qualifications:
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is:
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol. May be required to complete alcohol service training on a yearly basis.
- May be required to complete safe food service training on a yearly basis.
- Must be available to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the golf industry
- Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
