What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lake Isabella Boat Attendant position at Great Parks of Hamilton County?
This part time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position is posted for our boat attendant role. Boat Attendants works closely with our guests, providing product and fishing information. They will primarily work outside helping guests safely utilize our row boats and fishing kayaks. Lake Isabella is a fun environment with people who share a love for nature and fishing. Employees work collaboratively with each other to create a safe, clean, and enriching park.
- Greets and serves customers to ensure satisfaction. Assists in locating specific fishing related merchandise, answers inquiries, and provides information regarding merchandise, rentals, and programs.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of boathouse, displays, boats, and work areas. Sweeps and mops floors, dusts furniture, empties wastebaskets, etc.
- Opens and closes the boathouse with attention to security of all assets and attention to detail when completing clerical duties.
- Boat attendants are required to be able to regularly lift 50 lbs. Cashiers are required to be able to regularly lift 20 lbs.
- Completes online and in-person training necessary to job duties.
- Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
- Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, with accountability and reliability a priority.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
