Responsibilities
- Report directly to Summer Stage Management, as well as supervisors and team leads, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down of the various concession/venue related activity including but not limited to busy pre-performance and intermission rushes.
- Prep, stock, set up, replenish, and break down concession areas and event spaces in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices.
- Ensure bar workstations are clean, organized, and fully stocked in preparation for service.
- Provide exceptional hospitality with a positive, professional attitude toward guests, clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Serve as a runner for food and beverage as needed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to service areas.
- Anticipate concession team needs by proactively completing rounds and replenishing stock and ice in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ability to work well in a team driven environment.
- Consistent standing throughout the shift
- Upkeep and organization of GP storage areas.
- Break down cardboard and maintain assigned areas clean, organize, and debris-free condition, ensuring removal of carts and trash.
- Adheres to all food safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Willingness to learn, gain experience and knowledge to develop skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and service oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team orientated environment.
- Ability to work a part time flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including repetitive reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
- NYC’s Food Handlers Certificate a plus
- TIPS certified a plus
Job Type: Seasonal
Base salary: $18.00/hour tips
Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
