About the Role:
As an LDAR Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for performing Method 21 monitoring of components to identify and report leaks in accordance with regulatory requirements. This role involves following a pre-determined route, identifying tagged LDAR components, and documenting findings accurately.
Experience
- 0 to 12 months of related work experience and/or training.
Education and/or
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management for timely tasks completion
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel as needed (company-provided transportation)
- Ability to stand/walk on feet 10 hours a day with 25lbs pack, climb ladders/stairs, and work at elevated heights
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Eagerness to learn with a coachable mindset
- Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21
- Must be able to pass MVR Check, Background Check, and Drug Screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in a related field
- Certifications in SafeLand and H2S
- Proficiency in Apple and or Windows-based computers
- Experience towing trailers
Key Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of components to detect leaking equipment (valves, pumps, connectors, etc.)
- Identify and report AVO leaks and OEL components.
- Follow pre-determined route assigned in a handheld datalogger.
- Properly monitor LDAR applicable components on equipment throughout client facility.
- Ability to read and understand Piping and Instrument Diagrams.
- Ability to properly document LDAR components, following GAS processes.
- Ability to identify process equipment, components and ALL associated emission seams.
- Complete daily summary of work.
- Communicate equipment changes with office personnel
- Communicate/Coordinate with plant personnel.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
