Shipping Clerk
Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented person to join our team as a Shipping Clerk.
The Shipping Clerk will assist the Shipping Manager and Shipping Coordinators with a variety of tasks that relate to shipping wholegoods as well as assisting with variety of other daily shipping tasks as assigned.
This position works from our Corporate Office in Salina, KS. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrange 3rd Party Transfer Shipments
- Work Daily Error Report and Daily Freight Concession Report
- Set Up Daily Shipping Report each month
- Monitor Units Shipped but not invoiced
- Work Freight Claims and RGAs
- New Product Set Up Sheets
- Maintain Cubes and Dimensions on Products for Shipping
- Daily Manifests from LTL Carriers
- Monitor Invoicing and Shipping Errors, identify ways to correct
- Maintain Show and Export Bulletins
- Other Tasks as Assigned
- Grow into assisting with LTLs and CPUs
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and have ability to quickly learn new tasks
- High regard for customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- PC experience: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- IBMi experience
