Description :
PRN (4th weekend) staff Pharmacist is under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, dispenses medication; exercising professional judgment in response to a provider’s prescription according to government regulations to ensure the appropriate drug therapy for optimal patient care; counsels, assists, and educates physicians, nurses, and patients on appropriate medication doses, uses, side effects, cautions, and drug purposes. Fills team member and family prescriptions. Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to maintain good order and flow of workload. Prepares sterile admixtures and hazardous chemotherapy drugs following USP 797, USP 800 and GPRMC policies and procedures.
Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy and hold a current license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
