Compensation: $15-18 hourly, DOE and certifications
Job Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of First-Class Service, Crown-Class Service, Kitchen and Concessions in the Food & Beverage department. Plans, organizes, directs and controls daily food and beverage service to ensure the department’s goals and objectives are reached and consistent with established Company policy and procedure. Works as a team member of the Food & Beverage Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in organizing, directing, and controlling all aspects of dail food and beverage activities to ensure the department’s goals and objectives are reached and consistent with established Company policy and procedure.
- Assist in inventory and cost control.
- Focus on suggestive sales and waste control.
- Assist in making sure back orders, shortages and out of stock situations are controlled and reported to Food & Beverage Management.
- Assist in Running daily reports for excursions.
- Assist in proper planning in department for Special Events such as but not limited to: Uncorked, Smoky Mountain Beer Run, Wet Your Whistle, and Charters.
- Focus on onboard inventory and keeping appropriate stock levels.
- Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with GSMR policy, procedures and safety program including Safety Rules, Operating Rules, and participation in ongoing safety training/regular daily safety meetings/toolbox talks.
- Training of Food & Beverage personnel.
- Daily checkout of onboard sales & retail with required paperwork completed, dropped, secured & recorded.
- Responsible for making sure nightly lock up & security has been completed.
- Work with other departments as part of a team to provide passengers/guest with positive memories.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or related area with supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, possessing good leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to supervise people. Must be able to interact effectively with coworkers and customers.
- Serv Safe Certified.
- Good balance/equilibrium, walking on train.
- Must possess organizational skills with ability to multi-task while prioritizing workload with practical, flexible and innovative approach to work.
- Pre-Employment Background Check, DMV Check & pass Work Steps Program.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with night, weekend and holiday hours.
Work Environment:
- Able to work long days may require prolonged standing and lifting of objects up to 50lbs.
- Able to work with many types of personalities and able to work out problems and resolve conflicts.

Salary : $15 - $18
