General Description
The Customer Information File Clerk is responsible for ensuring all CIF records are set-up and maintained in an accurate and timely manner. Assists customers and employees with inquiries regarding account set-up.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing CIF changes, ensuring all changes have appropriate supporting documentation. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.
- Processes new account information, entering information in system and linking related accounts. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.
- Responsible for monitoring and verifying account captioning to ensure account information is accurate and complete. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
- Processes returned mail and distribute to appropriate person or department. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
- Review signature cards to ensure cards are accurate and complete. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.
- Knowledgeable of CIF standards and is available to assist customers and employees with questions and inquiries relating to the CIF area. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA / AML).
- Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
