Job Summary
Great Southern Homes seeks a Customer Service Field Representative for its Upstate Division operations to meet the demand for our homes in the Greenville, South Carolina market.
Overview
As a Customer Service Field Representative, you will be responsible for managing all warranty tickets, questions, and concerns in the field. You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments with homeowners and various trades to get warranty tickets completed.
Essential Functions
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process written or electronic warranty tickets and/or verbal instructions from supervisor for homeowner repair requests.
- Schedule all warranty appointments with homeowners and evaluate repair requests to determine if they are warrantable items.
- Schedule and manage subcontractors to make designated warranty repairs.
- Maintain prompt response times within one business day to all tickets and requests.
- Maintain an open line of communication with customers and vendors prior to and during assessments and repairs.
- Responsible for managing the scheduling of all warranty items between homeowners and vendors/subcontractors for all warranty work on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all warranty tickets and/or jobs are completed from start to finish with all parties involved.
- Responsible for entering all corresponding vendor tickets into the system no later than 48 hours after assessments are completed.
- Assess and determine which vendor/subcontractor tickets need to be entered for various repairs based on the onsite inspection w/ the homeowner and any vendor/subcontractors onsite.
- Conduct weekly reviews of the open ticket list with Division Warranty Manager to ensure a continuous workflow.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
- Construction industry experience or general knowledge of construction strongly preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of a jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Prolonged periods of sitting/driving and standing
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
