Qualifications & Skills
- Must be Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and have Missouri state-license as assistant behavior analyst and meet state specific requirements
- At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in in-home and/or clinic-based settings
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for results
- Ability to counsel employees, recognize talent, reward good performance
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director or a licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA):
- Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization. Ensures all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
- Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/ exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other stake holders, with the emphasis on delivering developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes.
- Provide client-specific training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
- Provide direct services to clients when needed.
- Supervise others with a focus on developing supervisees independent clinical skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and fulfillment of certification requirements.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely fashion, including but not limited to generating reports, completing insurance reviews, and completing forms to ensure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.
- Act as an active training member for clinical and management staff. This includes on-site staff training, orientation training, clinical and staff meetings.
- Maintain all documentation as it pertains to training as required/necessary and communicate needs for training scheduling and supplies to management.
- Serve as a supervisory staff member within a collaborative team environment taking on other duties as necessary that serve to promote the success of the program and its clients.
- Be active in maintaining the efficacy and integrity of the organization within the goals/philosophy of the organization; strive to maintain the philosophy, and mission of the program to the highest capacity.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Submit to drug or alcohol testing, if requested
- Current certification for CPR/First Aid, or willingness to complete training if provided
- Must complete crisis intervention training as provided by Great Strides
- Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: sitting on floor, kneeling, bending, squatting, lifting and other physical activities that may be associated with handling young children specifically those with Autism.
