Great Valley Pet Hotel, located in Malvern, PA, is seeking high-energy, positive, animal-loving professionals to join our team for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions.
Experience not required but dog lover is a must!
Dog Daycare Attendant (Group Activity Counselor) Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the fun and safety of each guest during group and private playtimes!
- Lead the "Pack", supervise, and interact with dogs while playing together
- Responsible for getting to know each dog’s unique personality and helping them live their best fun life while in our care
- Maintain safety and comfort of all pets during their play session
- Follow proper dog handling standards
- Maintain the Indoor and Outdoor yards for cleanliness
- Enjoy working outside and being active
Schedule:
- 4 hour and 8 hour shifts available during operating hours between 8:30 am - 6:30 pm. Flexible scheduling so great for students!
- Since our guests require care 365 days a year, applicants must have regular weekend availability and be able to work most holidays.
Dog Daycare Attendant Position Requirements:
- An animal lover is a must!
- Comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes
- Basic understanding of dog body language and behavior
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Team player
- Enthusiastic
- Professional
- Ability to stand on feet and remain active throughout shift
- Ability to work outside during all seasons
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
