The Administrative Assistant - Human Resources provides support to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the HR Team, relieving them of as many day-to-day administrative duties as possible. Responsible for handling confidential and time sensitive information working with both internal and external personnel. Duties require excellent knowledge of GreatAmerica, and diplomacy and judgment in dealing with a wide range of situations. Position requires the ability to anticipate problems, initiate appropriate action, and administer confidential information with discretion.

As An Administrative Assistant - Human Resources, You Will
- Provide support to the CHRO and leadership team including but not limited to scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and events
- Manage calendars and coordinate with executives, leaders, and team members.
- Assist with expense reports, meeting agendas, presentation decks, and recording action items.
- Perform HR administrative duties, including new hire lunches, leadership events, and offsite planning.
- Partner with administrative assistants to schedule new hire 1:1s with senior leaders.
- Manage name plate creation, college event logistics, and holiday gift administration.
- Support reward and recognition programs, including monthly awards and service awards.
- Maintain the corporate calendar and track membership designations (SHRM, CLFP, etc.).
- Organize and document meeting notes, follow up on action items, and manage assigned projects.
Education
- Minimum of associate’s degree
- Prefer minimum of 3 years dedicated administrative assistance to an executive/leader, handling confidential information, and heavy calendaring
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Adobe Suite
