General Description of Responsibilities :
A Member Support Coordinator has responsibility for creating a positive environment and experience for customers. This position interfaces directly and regularly with customers to answer a wide variety of questions and resolve issues about Association membership, benefits and programs; processes and maintains membership applications, change requests, payments and related records and documentation; supports lock box access; and performs a variety of accounts receivable, data entry and auditing and related administrative / business processes.
Job Characteristics and Behaviors :
The focus of this position requires a specialist orientation to completing detailed, accurate work based on established guidelines. A customer driven attitude is necessary in serving members and providing world class hospitality. Job tasks and performance expectations regarding quality of work and accuracy are well defined by existing standards, systems, and technology. A conscientious, disciplined approach to work is essential. This position requires an outgoing and friendly communication style that is considerate of the feelings and attitudes of others and can work cooperatively with a wide variety of people. This position also requires a willingness and ability to learn new skills and maintain the organization’s high standards for error-free, quality work.
