As such, Team Me mbers are expected to report to GBFB locations as required, after securing the safety of their families, and may be asked to perform duties that are critical (but outside of their regularly assigned duties) in times of disaster.
Senior Director of Technology Operations
The Sr. Director is responsible for long term vision, leadership and strategic direction of enterprise-wide solutions. Critical to this role is the ability to use technology to translate GBFB needs into workable, scalable business solutions for all stakeholders in the ecosystem by delivering operational effectiveness and stakeholder engagement. This position reports to the VP of Digital Strategy and Technical Operations.
Responsibilities:
Run day to day tasks, prioritize case management for the technology operations team.
Identify opportunities to exploit technical innovations for business benefit, and promotes these through technology strategy and architecture definition work
Define and manage the target technical and security architectures to promote service standardization.
Develop roadmaps to improve IT services and their underlying technology components while managing Technology implementations.
Plan the development of technology operations service capability to improve service and reduce the overall costs
Manage budget for the Technology Operations team
Maintain a long-term investment plan in line with the strategic roadmaps
Oversee the production of high-level designs for service development and infrastructure changes, working closely with the team responsible for detailed design including with third party vendors as appropriate
Ensure close working with PMO to conduct product and vendor selection for architectural components
Manage an effective technology governance regime and quality management system that gives appropriate control and assurance of activities to meet planned outcomes
Actively promotes the use of industry best practice through ensuring key processes are well documented and are aligned to the recognized industry best practice models and embedded accordingly, e.g. ITIL
Deliver improvements to the IT Strategy and Architecture function, E.g. Architecture Review Team, Innovation Lab etc.
Ensure that together the team is focused on achieving results using all resources available from initiation through to delivery and feels comfortable to challenge and be challenged
Ensures staff communicate complex technical messages appropriately
Skills:
Understanding of enterprise architecture, solutions architecture and proven history of providing innovative solutions to enhance technology landscape
Salesforce and NetSuite knowledge required

10+ years of experience in a technology leadership position. Engineering expertise in agile application development, digital and cloud-based applications.
Track record of developing and maintaining security and technology architectures
Demonstrable experience of managing architecture teams within complex technical environments and with third parties
Experience of IT management at scale
Has strong commercial and customer awareness and a proven track record of ensuring the Business (and stakeholders) is always at the forefront of decision making
Proven ability to drive outstanding performance and gain commitment through developing, coaching, motivating, energizing and inspiring team members
Proven experience of driving major technology transformation
Strong understanding of the business processes that underpin the organization focusing on the role of information provision
Excellent ability to manage ambiguity and undertake forward planning
Proven experience of defining and implementing an IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and associated roadmap, managing a Design Authority to support key projects
Strong understanding of and passion for new technologies, with the ability to spot potential opportunities

Salary : $122,000 - $158,000
