Job Overview:
Winton Woods City Schools is seeking a skilled and dynamic Lead Tech / User Support Analyst to join our technology team. This position is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting district-wide technology systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The Lead Tech / User Support Analyst also provides technical leadership, oversees asset management, and supports infrastructure systems to ensure the seamless operation of technology for staff and students.
As a key member of the team, the Lead Tech / User Support Analyst will also mentor team members, provide training, and develop user documentation to enhance technology support across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Deployment and Support:
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems across the district.
Manage and resolve service requests, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Perform advanced technical repairs and maintenance on devices, systems, and applications.
Infrastructure and Asset Management:
Support district-wide infrastructure, including network systems, student data tools, and educational technology platforms.
Oversee asset management, including inventory tracking and deployment of hardware and software.
Collaborate with IT team members to maintain and improve network and data systems.
Leadership and Team Development:
Provide mentorship and training to help desk staff and team members.
Develop and maintain user documentation, technical guides, and training materials.
Lead initiatives to optimize technology use and enhance staff and student support.
Customer Service and Communication:
Communicate effectively with staff to troubleshoot and address technical issues.
Provide excellent customer service and support to improve technology use district-wide.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems.
Experience with asset management and deployment of technology devices and software.
Familiarity with educational technology platforms and student data systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a school district or educational environment.
Leadership experience, including mentoring or training team members.
